University of Mianwali organized Kashmir Solidarity Day. The purpose of the event was to express the aspirations of the Kashmiri nation and bring the atrocities of the Indian Army before the world. Prof. Dr. Ashraf Khan Niazi, Principal (R), Govt Postgraduate College Mianwali kindly accepted the invitation to be the Chief Guest. The other honorable guests included Dr. Liaqat Ali Registrar, Dr. M. Shafiq Asif, Dean of Social sciences, Dr Abdul Majeed Khan, Incharge Department of Education, Dr Qari Zafar Iqbal (Guest Speaker), Dr Ansar Abbas, Mr. Irfan Khan, Chairman Board, UMW Societies and Clubs, Mr. Sajid Ullah Khan , Mr. Essa Khan and other faculty members of the University. The students and teachers expressed their talents and represented the Kashmiri nation in a rich manner in the speeches, debates and essays. In their speeches, students described the oppression and persecution of Kashmiri Muslims and described their bravery and courage. At the end, a peace walk was conducted for solidarity with Kashmiris in the University of Mianwali starting from the eRozgar center upto the University Road.
