Mathematics develops critical thinking, problem solving skills and computational skills. The theory and techniques taught in mathematics courses are important in today’s society. The application of Mathematics in the subjects of technology, finance and environmental science has increased the demand for Mathematics graduates in a variety of fields. The Department of Mathematics will offer courses and programs of study that will ensure that the student learner will be able to contribute to today’s society. The students who want to study more about Mathematics are encouraged. Department of Mathematics Initially will offer only BS Mathematics Program. More graduate and post graduate degree programs will be offered from the next academic year.
