The University of Mianwali celebrated sports week 2023.The opening ceremony of the annual games, inaugurated by Vice Chancellor, University of Mianwali, Professor Dr. Islamullah Khan, along with Dean of Social sciences and Humanities Dr Shafiq Asif, Dean of Sciences Additional Registrar Dr Zafar Iqbal, Registrar UMW Dr Liaqat Ali, Treasurer Mutee ur Rehman, estate officer Zaigham Raza Khan, Sports Incharge Dr Majeed khan and Dr Mansoor Baig ,Head of departments , faculty members, journalist of electronic & print media and students.
While addressing the students ,the Vice Chancellor University of Mianwali threw light on the importance of games /sports and also elaborated that co curricular activities play vital role in students’ life and make them healthy and active citizen as well.
The Vice-Chancellor congratulated the entire administration , especially Sports Incharge Dr Majeed khan for organizing such a fabulous sports gala and encouraged them to conduct such type of healthy activities in future as well.
