The Department of Business Administration University of Mianwali has been active in providing candidates with systematic knowledge and understanding of the principles of business and market dynamics. The degree programs are designed on team-based learning, class presentations, case studies, field research reports and other reference materials, to combine academic theories with empirical research, seminars and workshops on current economic and business developments are also organized in the Department.

The Department of Business Administration intends to provide quality and research-oriented business education. To keep pace with the dynamic world of business and business education, the department of Business Administration is accelerating in both ways, one, the department is expanding in its educational programs by introducing MBA Program and BBA (HONS) four years Program. Another development is to bring about change in syllabus, which is in compliance with the international education policy. The students are capable of all those disciplines which are the necessity of the day.

Degree Conferred personalities of the department in the disciplines of Finance, Accounting, Marketing & Human Resource management (HRM) are well received by corporate sector. It is expected that this change in nomenclature of the course would be well received by the corporate and would add more to the job placement activities of our students.

Academic year is divided into two semesters based on classroom lectures, research work, presentations and report writing etc. GPA evaluation system is there to grade student in a way that they are accepted internationally. Minimum CGPA requirement for the degree is 2.00.

Central Library is an academic hub of research and discovery for the UMW community. CL offers outstanding multidisciplinary resources and services in support to university academic and research objectives. This prestigious library of University of Mianwali has also been striving to support its users to solve the Socioeconomic issues prevailing these days. CL is equipped with all required sources of information both in hard and digital formats. In addition to the facilities, our library is committed to accomplish the most pivotal role in information acquisition, organization, retrieval, access and use. The managers have always been focusing on enhancing the quality of system and services. Students, faculty, researchers and other stakeholders are encouraged, motivated and facilitated to take maximum benefit of the library. It is a matter of satisfaction that we have developed our web online public access catalogue (OPAC) that can help the users to reach our library database worldwide and remotely accessible 24/7.
