INTRODUCTION
Economics has vital role to play in contemporary society and at university of Mianwali the emphasis is on relevance to human activity, experience and endeavour. Today Economics is the need of time. Economics helps to know how societies, governments, businesses, households and individuals allocate their scarce resources for their betterment. Economics can also provide valuable knowledge of making decisions for everyday life. Economics is concerned with optimal distribution of resources in the society. Economics department offers a variety of courses with a firm foundation in the principles of Economics. It is designed to stimulate your understanding regarding the nature of Economics, both as a field of scientific enquiry and as an academic discipline. Main emphasis is to provide you the practical knowledge of the " Economic World " in which we live.
Central Library is an academic hub of research and discovery for the UMW community.
