INTRODUCTION

Economics has vital role to play in contemporary society and at university of Mianwali the emphasis is on relevance to human activity, experience and endeavour. Today Economics is the need of time. Economics helps to know how societies, governments, businesses, households and individuals allocate their scarce resources for their betterment. Economics can also provide valuable knowledge of making decisions for everyday life. Economics is concerned with optimal distribution of resources in the society. Economics department offers a variety of courses with a firm foundation in the principles of Economics. It is designed to stimulate your understanding regarding the nature of Economics, both as a field of scientific enquiry and as an academic discipline. Main emphasis is to provide you the practical knowledge of the ” Economic World ” in which we live.

CL offers outstanding multidisciplinary resources and services in support to university academic and research objectives. This prestigious library of University of Mianwali has also been striving to support its users to solve the Socioeconomic issues prevailing these days. His areas of expertise are Financial Management, Corporate Finance, International Finance Management, Risk Management, Investment and Portfolio Management, Business Statistics, Statistical Inference and Advance Research Methods.
