Economics helps to know how societies, governments, businesses, households and individuals allocate their scarce resources for their betterment. Economics can also provide valuable knowledge of making decisions for everyday life. Economics is concerned with optimal distribution of resources in the society. Economics department offers a variety of courses with a firm foundation in the principles of Economics. It is designed to stimulate your understanding regarding the nature of Economics, both as a field of scientific enquiry and as an academic discipline. Main emphasis is to provide you the practical knowledge of the " Economic World " in which we live.
