We’re glad to announce the prominent achievement of our student Mubashir Islam, Computer Science Department, 6th semester.
This summer, Mubashir applied for fellowship program offered by MindStorm studios. After one month training, all fellowship students participated in Game Jam competition titled “Rookie GameJam 2022”. There were 2300+ applicants for fellowship and almost 464 students secured their spot to compete in the GameJam. 125 teams were formed and the Game Jam theme was announced in August. This year’s theme was “Nostalgia” and all teams were supposed to develop a game based on the theme. It was a month long competition which ended on 18 September.
Prize Distribution Ceremony was held on 20 October, 2022. Mubashir and his team secured First position award all over Pakistan and won this year’s Rookie Game Jam. He and his team was also awarded 1,25,000 pkr prize pool and sponsored trip to MindStorm Studios for Prize Distribution Ceremony. In addition, Mindstorm studios offered FYP co-supervision and Incubation program to Mubashir for better future opportunities and experience.
